The 'Wedding Safe' Industry Standard

The UK-wide Wedding Safe industry standard reassures your staff, suppliers and customers that your venue or business adheres to Government and public health guidance and is committed to keeping them safe and keeping the industry open.

Who can apply for the Wedding Safe Standard?

Any UK based wedding venue or business who has read, understands and agrees to follow the relevant Covid-19 guidance from Public Health England and the Government, and has a Covid-19 Risk Assessment in place, can apply for the industry standard mark by completing an online assessment. There is no fee.

What does the assessment include?

The assessment includes links to relevant guidance specific to your sector to help you ensure that you are following current guidelines to be covid-safe.
You’ll need to complete a checklist confirming you have all the necessary processes in place.
You’ll then receive your certification and ‘Wedding Safe’ logo to display on your premises and online to give staff and customers the confidence that you take their safety seriously and that your business is covid-safe.

What sort of businesses should apply?

All reputable wedding venues and businesses should be eligible to apply for and display the ‘Wedding Safe’ logo. Understanding and following current guidance is critical to keeping our industry open by demonstrating a clear commitment to understanding and following current guidance.
